Job Description
Responsibilities Draft and standardize Position Descriptions (PDs) and evaluation statements, working directly with supervisors to identify position duties, responsibilities, and required skill sets. Provide day-to-day Federal position classification support using OPM classification standards and functional guides for a variety of positions, including professional, acquisition, COR, cyber, scientific, supervisory, staff, SES, and SL positions. Review and update PDs to ensure they are complete, accurate, and ready for classification, incorporating feedback from HR Specialists. Ensure accuracy of classification and position data, including FLSA codes, BUS codes, CLC, cyber codes, TDP, certifications, supervisory level, position sensitivity, and other position requirements. Develop and maintain organizational charts reflecting accurate organizational structures, position titles, occupational series, grades, and PD numbers. Identify position management and classification concerns and provide recommendations for appropriate changes. Maintain and reconcile PD records, including matching master record numbers with PD numbers and identifying missing or inaccurate records. Upload and maintain standard and non-standard PDs within DHS PD libraries/repositories and USA Staffing (USAS). Prepare classification summaries, reports, and other documentation as required.
