  • Red Rover serves as the internal expert for the district's Red Rover hiring platform, supporting system implementation, user support, and process optimization.
This role oversees the substitute lifecycle and student teacher coordination, including recruitment support, onboarding, and engagement, while maintaining accurate data and collaborating with departments to support efficient staffing operations.
DUTIES:
Systems Strategy & Implementation Red Rover (hiring platform)
Optimization:
Partner with Recruitment and Retention Specialist (RRS) to develop and deliver technical training, implementation support, and optimization of the Red Rover hiring platform.
Help Desk Management:
Manage the Red Rover Help Desk, offering technical and procedural support to internal and external users.
Internal Authority:
Act as the internal hiring authority for the platform.
Substitute & Student Teacher Coordination Sub Management:
Oversee the substitute (sub) lifecycle, including active recruiting and consistent communication as well as tracking licensures.
Student Teachers:
Serve as the primary point of contact and support for student teacher placements.
Engagement:
Conduct sub surveys to gather feedback and improve the substitute experience.
Onboarding & Operations Recruitment:
Manage job reposts and initiate increased recruitment efforts with RRS.
Process Leadership:
Lead the substitute onboarding process.
Compliance:
Manage all onboarding paperwork and background checks (BC).
Orientation:
Facilitate and support new orientation sessions for incoming staff.
Data Entry and Integrity:
Maintain accurate records across Red Rover (RR) and Skyward.
Inter-Departmental Flow:
Manage sub assignments and coordinate data sharing with departments like Child Nutrition (CN), Buildings and Grounds (B&G), and Adventures Plus (A+)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent. Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently in a professional and timely manner. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with staff at all levels while treating others with dignity and respect. Strong math aptitude and analytical skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Access). Ability to work under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods. Understanding of the impact of human resources work on the overall operations of the district. Ability to maintain consistent and reliable attendance, including completing an assigned day. Ability to perform all position responsibilities. Must be physically present and working in the building.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strategic Self Starter:
A self-motivated problem-solver who takes initiative to fix inefficiencies and makes confident decisions to improve workflows.
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with Red Rover or other hiring software, skyward, and Google workspace.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written skills for sub-recruiting and multi-departmental collaboration.
Proactivity:
Ability to independently manage social media recruitment and website updates. Attention to detail.
Rate of Pay:
$26.84/ hr to $35.13/ hr DOE. HR Generalists who have or obtain an Associate of Arts/Science degree or an equivalent number of credits applicable towards a bachelor's degree (60 semester or 90 quarter credits) will receive an additional $1.00 per hour. HR Generalists who have or obtain a bachelor's degree will receive an additional $1.50 per hour. There will be no stacking of Certificates and Degrees. The highest level of pay will be applied.
