Job Description
American Spirit Corporation/Carlson Print Group is an award winning printing, specialty packaging and data marketing company seeking a Human Resource Generalist . Join our team if you are looking for an opportunity to enhance your skills and enjoy working with a growing company. We're looking for an enthusiastic, relationship-driven HR Generalist who is passionate about recruiting top talent while supporting key HR functions including onboarding, record management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. This is a FT on-site position primarily at our Eden Prairie, MN office with availability to also work at our Howard Lake, MN location 1 day per week.
Familiarity with Paylocity is a plus. General knowledge of employment laws and Human Resource practices. Valid Driver's license, travel required to Howard Lake location Experience working with staffing agencies or managing contract recruiting is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and online recruiting platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn. Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.Work Arrangement:
Hybrid - 4 days in the office and 1 day remote each week.Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Source top talent using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach. Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, conduct reference and background checks, drug testing and prepare employment offers. Create positive, professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation. Manage the contract recruiting process for temporary and contract positions. Serve as the primary point of contact for staffing agencies and recruiting vendors. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with agency representatives. Maintain employee records and HR documentation. Assist in company event planning Assist with benefits administration and HR compliance. Help foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.Qualifications:
Two or more years of Human Resources experience with a strong emphasis on recruiting. A self-starter, able to work efficiently independently and part of a team. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow. High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. Comfortable interacting with various levels of an organization. Effective verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
