Job Description U.S. Bank is seeking an HR Service Center Specialist who will be responsible for: Providing high-touch HR support to employees, retirees, managers, and business partners on HR policies, payroll, and benefits questions and processes. Serving as an escalation point for complex and sensitive inquiries, managing urgent issues with professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality across phone, chat, portal, and email channels. Partnering with HR teams to research and resolve complex cases, identify root causes, and ensure timely, accurate outcomes, while proactively anticipating issues and improving the employee experience. Supporting Tier 1 agents through coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing to enhance performance and ensure consistent service delivery. Communicating clearly and effectively, adapting approach to meet the needs of diverse customers and stakeholders. Utilizing HR systems, including ServiceNow case management tools and HRIS platforms such as Workday, to document, track, and resolve inquiries in alignment with service level expectations. Contributing to continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends and recommending process enhancements. Meeting onsite expectations by working in the office more than 60% of the time each month (full working days). Basic Qualifications 3+ years of experience in HR operations, payroll, benefits, customer service, or related field Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications HR Service Center or Operations experience; familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to independently resolve complex issues and manage multiple priorities Experience coaching or supporting peer development Proficiency in Microsoft Office; bilingual skills a plus Location Expectations The work shift is Monday-Friday 9:30-6:00 PM CST This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
