Job Description

Rise Incorporated seeks a Human Resource Specialist to support our mission of empowering people with disabilities and other barriers. In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration for staff across Minnesota. Responsibilities include posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, supporting benefits and leave processes, maintaining HRIS records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. You'll partner with leaders to foster an inclusive, person-centered culture that values dignity, respect, and teamwork while helping employees thrive in their roles. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, and interview coordination Coordinate and facilitate new-hire onboarding and orientation Administer benefits, leave programs, and HR paperwork in alignment with policy and law Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data Support employee relations by responding to HR inquiries with a person-centered approach Assist with performance management processes and documentation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and nonprofit employment regulations Partner with leaders to promote inclusive, mission-driven workplace culture Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes and employee experience Required Skills Recruiting and talent acquisition Employee onboarding Benefits administration HRIS management Employment law compliance Employee relations Performance management support HR policy development Data reporting and HR metrics Documentation and recordkeeping
