Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Recruitment & Staffing Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing positions Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements Post job openings on internal and external platforms Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews Coordinate interviews with hiring managers Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet ongoing staffing demands Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on hiring progress New Hire Orientation & Onboarding Facilitate new hire orientation sessions for hourly employees Ensure completion of all onboarding paperwork and compliance requirements Educate new hires on company policies, procedures, and safety expectations Coordinate pre-employment steps including background checks and drug screenings Ensure smooth transition from onboarding to training Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding documentation HR Support Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to onboarding and policies Assist with maintaining HR systems and employee data Support HR initiatives and programs as needed Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous HR experience is recommended due to the nature of this position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Strong communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with management and applicants.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Experience with HR Software for onboarding and recruiting preferred (Applicant Tracking System, ATS); detail oriented with timely follow-up skills.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. The pace of this job is very fast and requires flexibility and solid decision-making capabilities. Must reference senior staff at TGMO on issues for consistency.
