Position Summary Seyer Industries is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide professional HR support across multiple functional areas, including employee relations, recruiting, policy administration, compliance, and HR systems. This position serves as a key resource for employees and supervisors and partners with leadership to support workforce needs, strengthen HR processes, and promote a positive workplace culture. DutiesResponsibilities Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and supervisors regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and employee relations matters. Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, onboarding, and new-hire documentation. Partner with supervisors and managers on staffing needs, retention strategies, performance management, corrective actions, and employee development. Administer and maintain HR systems, employee records, HR Actions, and workflow processes in UKG. Support HR operations and maintain consistent communication across the St. Peters and Cuba, Mo. locations. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and wage and hour requirements. Analyze HR metrics and provide reports and insights to HR leadership. Identify and implement opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and electronic documentation. Support recruiting and employer-branding initiatives through participation in company social media and marketing efforts. Maintain working knowledge of payroll processes and provide backup payroll support as needed. QualificationsRequirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of professional-level Human Resources experience; manufacturing experience preferred. Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance. Experience with HRIS systems; UKG experience preferred but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels. Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Demonstrated initiative and ability to identify and implement process improvements. Consistent and dependable attendance. Why Seyer Industries?
