POSIT I O N S UMMAR Y
Working under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the successful candidate is a hands-on HR professional who can balance day-to-day employee needs with proactive talent acquisition strategies, build strong relationships across the organization, and help ensure the company has the talent needed to achieve its operational goals.
ESSENTIA L POSIT I O N RESPONSIBI L ITIES
Lead end-to-end recruiting efforts for hourly manufacturing positions, including workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding. Partner with plant leadership and hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies aligned with production goals. Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume hourly roles while reducing time-to-fill and improving quality of hire. Coordinate recruiting events, job fairs, community partnerships, employee referrals, and other sourcing initiatives to attract qualified manufacturing talent. Monitor recruiting metrics and hiring trends to identify opportunities for improving candidate flow, hiring efficiency, and retention. Ensure recruiting practices comply with company policies and applicable employment laws while delivering a positive candidate experience. Assist with weekly & biweekly payroll for all Niteo companies. Assist with benefit renewal and open enrollment. Reconcile monthly benefit bills and submit for payment. Track temporary employees and maintain accurate reporting and billing. Review all disability claims and FMLA requests. Respond to routine employee questions and direct them to the appropriate resources as required. Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance. Maintain data in HRIS. Provide reporting and analytics as required. Maintain employee confidence and protect the integrity of the Human Resources office by maintaining strict confidence regarding matters pertaining to all employees. Maintain expert knowledge of federal and state employment law and ensure compliance within assigned groups. Other duties as assigned by Director of Human Resources.
REQUIRED S K ILLS A ND E XPERI E NC E
3+ years of Human Resources experience Background in mid to high volume recruiting Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation, payroll, benefits, employee relations, etc. Strong knowledge of federate and state employment laws. HRIS experience required. Payroll processing experience required. Excellent computer skills required. Intermediate Excel.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS B.S
degree in Human Resources or equivalent education and experience.
