Human Resources Representative- Recruiting Location:
Columbus Central Services -
Columbus, MT Schedule:
5x2, 4x3 9hr
Shifts Job Responsibilities and Duties:
As an HR Representative (Recruiter), you will be part of a team of highly skilled HR professionals working in a fast-paced, high-volume, team-oriented environment. This role will provide full-cycle recruiting solutions to our operational leaders. This role will consult with Hiring Managers on the sourcing strategy, recruitment process, and selection criteria to ensure top talent is secured to fill their vacancies. This position requires a servant leader mindset who can partner with all levels within the organization. Conduct behavioral-based interviews and competency-based evaluations. Partners with departmental managers and hiring teams to define strategic objectives and hiring needs. Analyzes hiring needs, determines best recruiting methods, and creates/deploys department-specific and/or role-specific strategic recruiting strategies and marketing initiatives. Stays abreast of Mining industry trends and recruiting best practices. Builds and maintains subject matter expertise on typical Mining Industry roles. Administers job postings in various systems, including social media platforms Assesses candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit, and overall compatibility with business requirements. Provides guidance and facilitates the negotiation process through completion. Enters and tracks employee requisitions and/or candidate data in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Builds and maintains relationships with both passive and active candidates. Establishes and maintains a network of industry contacts through participation in professional/trade associations and other professional networking organizations. Responds to and addresses a variety of candidate and/or departmental inquiries. Completes candidate hiring/onboarding processes, including leading New Employee Orientation classes. Coaches, trains, and mentors other team members. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and understand employment-related laws, rules and regulations. Strong analytical and creative skills essential for success. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality is essential. Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Well organized, able to prioritize tasks, and provide a high level of accuracy. Adept at listening, problem-solving, and teamwork. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing. Ability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service. Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including career fairs, expos, and other recruiting events up to 10% of the time.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and/or a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a full-cycle recruitment function and/or other similar experience. Experience and ability to interpret and understand employment-related laws, rules and regulations. Experience and the ability to utilize, administer, and configure Applicant Tracking Systems. Advanced Computer literacy is preferred - specifically Excel, Relational Databases, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint. Sibanye-Stillwater is an equal opportunity employer.
