Job Description:
Human Resources/Fiscal Specialist $17.05 HS Diploma $18.05 AA/BA Degree This HR position is largely an administrative position responsible for recruiting and hiring new staff. The Human Resources Specialist will maintain staff files using ADP, run background checks, check references, and complete other office work. The Human Resources Specialist is expected to be competent in basic office and administrative skills with superb organizational and time management skills. Applicant must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and adjust in a fast-paced environment. Applicant will work in close collaboration with other team members and must have strong communication skills. The HR applicant must possess a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must have a high school diploma or GED with some relevant experience in human resources and/or secretarial functions. An associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred. Experience with ADP is a plus. We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude to fill our Administrative Assistant position. Candidates should be able to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and other duties relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fiscal operations and basic accounting. To be successful as an Administrative Assistant, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive to detail while also possessing a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn other fiscal management software. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must have a high school diploma or GED with one year of accounting, bookkeeping and payroll experience. Two years of experience is preferred. Applicant must possess a basic understanding of accounting systems and experience with ADP is a plus. An associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
