In this critical role, you will act as a key operational and consultative partner supporting multiple HR Generalists across all states in North America. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and analytical HR Generalist who excels at managing multiple shifting priorities across a broad regional footprint. The ideal candidate pairs some experience in using Workday (reporting, position management, and ability to teach others with sound judgment in employee relations, policy consultation, and investigative documentation. 1. HR Operations & Workday Administration
Position Management & EIBs:
Submit and process position management requests, serve as an active position planner, and prepare/execute mass Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) uploads as needed.
Reporting & Data Analytics:
Generate, schedule, and analyze routine and ad-hoc Workday reports to provide accurate, timely workforce metrics and headcount data to regional HR Generalists and HRBPs.
New Leader Integrations:
Pull recurring reports on new and promoted people leaders to assist HR Generalists with leadership transitions and introductory sessions.
Program & Participant Tracking:
Monitor and follow up on weekly unassigned participant reporting to maintain data accuracy, proper alignment, and system integrity.
Documentation & Compliance:
Help maintain organized, compliant digital personnel files, audit trails, and reporting records across all supported states. 2. Employee Relations & Investigative Support
Corrective Actions:
Partner closely with HR Generalists across North American to draft and review formal written warnings, performance improvement documentation, and corrective actions.
Time Theft & Attendance Investigations:
Support leaders to conduct, analyze, and document objective time theft investigations, synthesizing bade swipes, timecard data, and GPS logs into clear findings for HR leadership.
HR Policy Consultation:
Serve as an accessible first-line resource for employees and people managers regarding company policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Case Management Support:
Partner with team members across regions to track, facilitate, and ensure the timely resolution of employee cases and HR action items. 3. Talent, Leadership & Regional Offboarding
Exit Interviews & Regional Insights:
Conduct structured exit interviews with departing employees across North America; compile, analyze, and report exit trends and feedback to regional HR leadership.
Leader Coaching & Team Effectiveness:
Support HR Generalists in preparing materials and facilitating coaching sessions for people managers aimed at driving team performance and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Experience:
2-4+ years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated success supporting multi-site, multi-state, or regional client groups.
Workday Expertise:
Hands-on proficiency in Workday preferred, with direct experience running/modifying reports, managing position management workflows, and executing mass data loads.
Employee Relations & Documentation:
Proven experience drafting formal written warnings/corrective actions and conducting objective, evidence-based employee investigations (e.g., time theft, attendance audits).
Multi-Priority Support:
Demonstrated capability to balance shifting demands and support multiple HR Generalists across geographically distributed commercial teams.
Communication & Discretion:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment with sensitive topics.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical aptitude with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data compilation).
Preferred:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an asset.
- Experience supporting a commercial, sales, or field-based regional organization. Key Competencies
