SUMMARY - Intern
KEY ACTIVITIES
During the Internship, you will: Complete a project to develop an onboarding program for either corporate employees or drivers Partner with internal stakeholders to identify onboarding that are consistent for all employees, and those that are role/department specific Research best practices in onboarding to ensure employee engagement from day 1 Ensure our DE&I principles are represented at every stage of onboarding Identify creative ways to leverage technology to ensure a consistent onboarding experience across all of our locations
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of DE&I principles, federal labour laws and human rights legislation Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Exceptional MS Excel skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with HR software and systems. Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations. Conditions of Employment A background check, satisfactory to TransX, will be required prior to commencing employment at no expense to the intern.
