Job Description

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support a growing transportation equipment manufacturing organization in Lincoln, Nebraska. This role will partner with managers and employees across the business to help maintain effective people practices, ensure compliance, and support day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate brings broad human resources experience across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, records administration, and payroll support.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with department leaders and team members to address employee relations matters, performance concerns, and routine HR questions while promoting consistent application of company policies.
  • Help create, update, and roll out human resources policies, procedures, and related documentation to support compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain organized and accurate personnel records, prepare HR reports, and ensure employee data is kept current within HR systems.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities by assisting with sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating assessments, and helping move selected candidates through offer and onboarding stages.
  • Coordinate and deliver onboarding and orientation activities to help employees transition successfully into the organization.
  • Provide backup coverage for payroll processes and assist with accurate processing when needed.
  • Contribute to benefits administration and other core HR programs to support employees throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Participate in additional HR initiatives and special projects that improve people processes and overall department performance.
