Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist Representative provides professional human resources support across a broad range of HR functions. This position serves as a trusted resource to employees and managers by interpreting and applying HR policies, procedures, and employment practices. The HR Generalist Representative independently administers HR programs, resolves non-routine employee relations matters, and supports organizational initiatives related to talent management, compensation, training, and compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide guidance and interpretation on complex or non-routine human resources policies, procedures, and employment practices. Advise supervisors and employees on HR-related issues, ensuring consistent application of company policies and applicable employment laws. Administer and coordinate HR programs including: Assist with employee relations matters by conducting fact-finding, documenting issues, and recommending appropriate resolutions. Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding as needed. Maintain employee records and HR information systems while ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Participate in compensation and salary administration processes, including: Market analysis Pay recommendations Annual review cycles Coordinate employee training programs and professional development initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Prepare reports, analyze workforce data, and recommend process improvements to enhance HR operations. Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries regarding HR programs and policies. Support organizational change initiatives and other special HR projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically requires 3-5 years of progressively responsible human resources experience. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR principles, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to interpret policies and exercise sound judgment in resolving employee issues. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications. HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Comprehensive understanding of human resources functions and employment regulations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization. Excellent customer service orientation and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities. Supervision Works under minimal supervision and exercises independent judgment in carrying out assigned responsibilities. Refers only the most complex or sensitive issues to HR leadership.
