Fort Lee, NJ SUMMARY The Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the organization's human resources functions, with a strong focus on talent acquisition and recruitment. This position will lead recruiting efforts while also supporting employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and basic HR administration. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of partnering with leaders to attract, retain, and support top talent while fostering a positive workplace culture. JOB DUTIES
include but are not limited to the following: Talent Acquisition and Recruitment (Approximately 50%) Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention support. Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies across multiple departments and operational teams. Develop a strong understanding of departmental operations and hiring priorities to effectively identify and attract qualified candidates. Manage multiple recruiting priorities simultaneously while ensuring positions are filled within established hiring timelines and business needs. Support recruitment for a wide range of positions across operations, supply chain, corporate, retail, and support functions. Build and maintain talent pipelines for both corporate and field positions. Develop and implement recruiting initiatives to attract high-quality talent in a competitive labor market. Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, job boards, colleges, and community partnerships. Coordinate and participate in job fairs, hiring events, and recruiting campaigns. Track recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring updates and reports to leadership. Assist with onboarding processes, new hire orientation, and employee integration. Employee Relations and HR Administration Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding company policies, workplace concerns, and HR-related inquiries. Promote positive employee relations, communication, engagement, and workplace safety. Support employee disciplinary actions, investigations, and documentation as needed. Maintain employee records and update HRIS (G-HR) system. Support the performance review process and ensure timely completion of evaluations. Assist with HR reporting, audits, and general administrative tasks. Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, with particular focus on NJ and NY labor and employment requirements. Support HR policy implementation and maintain proper HR documentation and records. Benefits Administration Assist employees with basic benefits-related inquiries and enrollment support. Support annual open enrollment and employee benefit communications. Coordinate with benefit vendors and HR team regarding employee benefit administration. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including significant recruitment and talent acquisition responsibilities. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience managing full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee integration processes required. Strong experience recruiting for a wide range of positions across various functions and value chains. Previous experience with HRIS systems required, preferably ADP Workforce Now. Franchise, Food & Beverage, or multi-location industry experience highly preferred. Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, and leave laws, particularly in New Jersey (NJ) and New York (NY). Basic knowledge of Leave of Absence (LOA), FMLA, Workers' Compensation administration, and HR operations. Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in English; Korean or Spanish language proficiency preferred.
