Job Description
HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST 1.
Enforce GRM and partners policies and procedures as outlined in company employee handbooks, manuals, and contracts. 2. Follow HR Standard Operating Procedures as written. 3. File, log and update Workers' Compensation and Disability claims for union and non-union employees. 4.Maintain various Tracking reports:
Staff Opening, Worker's Compensation, Disability/New Paid Family Leave/FMLA etc. 5. Maintain Files pertaining to workers' compensation and disability claims 6. Work with Director of Insurance on workplace safety training programs 7. Work with Unemployment Cost Control on unemployment claims and hearing 8. Staff recruiting, onboarding, and processing new hires and conduct employee new hire orientation. 9. Complete employee change of status updates and reports 10. Review new hire compliance reports and personnel change reports ensuring data is accurate. 11. Interact with Employees regarding FMLA, Short Term and Long Term Disability 12. Work with HR Director on company policy and procedure development and enforcement 13. Ensure GRM and its partners are in compliance with FLSA, Title 7 of the Civil Rights Act, ADAA, ERISA, etc. 14. Assist with all other duties and Special Projects assigned by the HR Director 15. Work with HR Director on Labor Relations issues to include union contract interpretation, Implementation and Compliance 16. Work with Director of Insurance and Director of HR/Administrative Services on development of safety program, Worker's Compensation investigations and processing of worker's compensation claims 17. Assist Risk Management and Company Counsel on Worker's Compensation Litigations 18. Assist HR Manager on weekly payroll processing and Administration of Debit Pay card Program. 19. Function in ADP's Workforce Now Payroll/HCM system 20. All other duties assigned to support the operation of GRM and its partners. Ability to lift a minimum of 20lbs, operate a computer, climb stairs, traverse work sites, visit works sites as needed. Reasonable accommodation requested will be reviewed and administered as needed.Pay:
$70,000.00 - $77,682.67 per yearBenefits:
