Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of human resources management practices, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to workforce development, organizational design, and strategic planning initiatives that support our company's growth and culture. The Human Resources Specialist will be instrumental in managing HR systems, facilitating training programs, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations. Location expectations - 4 days in Millville office and 1 day a week in Galloway (Egg Harbor City) office. Responsibilities Lead talent acquisition efforts through effective sourcing strategies. Coordinate employee orientation sessions to ensure seamless onboarding experiences for new hires. Conduct employee evaluations and performance management processes to foster professional development and organizational effectiveness. Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation claims, ensuring compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA and OSHA standards. Support change management initiatives by developing strategic plans that align with organizational goals and workforce needs. Facilitate training & development programs aimed at enhancing employee skills, engagement, and retention. Ensure regulatory compliance with employment & labor law requirements while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Handle employee relations issues through effective conflict management and communication skills to promote a positive work environment. Experience 5 years proven experience in human resources department functions with a strong background in human capital management and HR legal compliance. Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, personnel administration, and HR sourcing strategies. Experience in benefits administration, payroll processing, and workforce management practices. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously. Knowledge of employment law in talent management, affirmative action planning, succession planning, and OSHA regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—particularly Excel—and data entry for HR analytics purposes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally while fostering positive employee relations. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
