JOB SUMMARY
Presto Tape is a leading manufacturer specializing in innovative adhesive solutions. Our company culture is built on innovation, excellence, and giving back. We are seeking a highly organized HR Generalist & Executive Assistant to lead key HR functions while providing direct support to the President of the company. This is a part-time, in-office position consisting of 20-29 hours per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources Coordination Drive full-cycle recruitment activities including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications. Support new hire onboarding including orientation and onboarding documentation collection. Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and confidential personnel files. Coordinate benefits administration including enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee inquiries. Administer and coordinate payroll processing, including verifying employee data, ensuring accuracy of wage and deduction information, and partnering with Finance to ensure timely and accurate payroll execution. Track employee attendance and PTO balances. Provide first-level support for employee relations matters, responding to employee questions regarding policies, workplace concerns, and HR processes. Administer employee leave programs including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), medical leave, personal leave, and other applicable leave policies. Assist leadership with employee relations matters including documentation, investigations support, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes. Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and procedures across all employees. Support the company's performance management process by tracking review deadlines, coordinating evaluation documentation, and maintaining employee performance records. Coordinate the employee termination process, including preparing documentation, ensuring final payroll processing, and maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Plan and coordinate employee events and HR initiatives such as recognition programs, employee appreciation activities, wellness initiatives, and company celebrations. Support HR reporting and compliance documentation. Exhibitschedule flexibility, including the ability to periodically support night shift employees. Executive Assistant Support Manage the President's calendar, meeting scheduling, and handle executive correspondence. Prepare reports, presentations, and key documents. Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expense tracking. Assist with personal appointments, travel, and errands for the President. Maintain confidential files and documents. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in the office space, ensuring it meets the standards of the startup culture. Manage the performance of general office organization, data entry, filing and supply tracking. Take on special projects as needed, with the opportunity to evolve into a broader operational role.
QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of experience in HR administration preferred. Experience in a manufacturing is a plus. SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, planning, and coordination abilities, including scheduling, logistics, and event management. High level of attention to detail, accountability, and work ethic. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for HR tracking and reporting and PowerPoint for presentations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information. Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving and flexible work environment.
