Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting daily human resources operations. This role involves onboarding, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, assisting in managing workforce operations, with healthcare regulations, maintaining adherence to healthcare labor laws, accreditation standards and fostering positive employee experience.
MINIMUM MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Minimum of 1-year relevant experience in the HR field.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Mandatory Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Qualifications:
Must have a solid understanding of employee-related topics including employee relations, and state and federal labor laws and regulations. Experience and strong understanding of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and related processes. Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization. High level of customer service skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Excellent written and verbal communications skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations, provide guidance, and documentation. A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification Associate degree in Human Resources, Health Care Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
