Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist
  • Onboarding & HR Operations to support our growing, multi-state healthcare organization.
This role is critical to delivering a seamless and compliant employee and provider experience—from offer acceptance through onboarding, ongoing employment changes, and separation. If you enjoy working behind the scenes to ensure processes run smoothly, data is accurate, and people are set up for success from day one, this role may be a great fit. What You'll Do Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Support Manage end-to-end onboarding for providers and administrative employees, ensuring readiness for day one Coordinate offboarding and separation processes, including checklist assignment and completion tracking Serve as a point of accountability to ensure onboarding and separation steps are completed accurately and on time Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve delays or gaps in required processes HRIS, Payroll & Systems Administration Maintain accurate employee and provider records in Paycom, including job data, compensation, tax forms, and status changes Ensure new hires are properly added to all required systems (HR, payroll, training, and internal platforms) Support payroll and HR leadership with system updates, audits, and employment changes Perform routine data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems Training & Checklist Management Assign required onboarding and compliance training and monitor completion Track checklist and training progress, following up as needed with employees, managers, and trainers Ensure documentation is properly recorded and retained Reporting & HR Support Run standard and ad-hoc reports related to onboarding, training completion, headcount, turnover, and compliance Compile and validate HR data for audits, leadership reporting, and operational needs Support HR leadership with data preparation and analysis Compliance & Process Improvement Ensure onboarding and separation processes align with internal policies and state-specific requirements Maintain personnel files in accordance with documentation and retention standards Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and efficiency Assist with updating SOPs, checklists, and onboarding materials as processes evolve What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in HR operations, onboarding, or HR administration Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-state organizations Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Paycom strongly preferred) Proven ability to manage multiple workflows, deadlines, and checklists simultaneously Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting HR reporting or data analysis Familiarity with learning management systems or workflow automation tools Skills That Will Help You Succeed Exceptional organization and follow-through Clear, professional written and verbal communication Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, payroll, training, IT, and leadership Process-driven mindset with comfort tracking metrics and compliance High level of discretion when handling confidential information Why Join Us Be part of a mission-driven healthcare organization making a meaningful impact Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with room to grow Play a key role in building scalable HR operations that support long-term growth
