Job Description
Job Description IRI is seeking a motivated Human Resources Generalist to join a strong team of HR professionals in the social services industry. As a Human Resources Generalist you will support all the HR functions of the organization including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, employee retention and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
responsible for the recruitment of talent for all level positions draft and posts all job postings internally as well as on job boards and social media platforms develop strategies related to talent acquisition, retention and employee engagement supports the on-boarding of new employees to ensure compliance with governing regulations maintains employee records both physically and electronically in compliance with labor laws, governing regulations and internal policies and protocols create and maintain various HR reports including, applicant tracking, vacancy, occupancy and turnover provides counseling to employees regarding employee relations, policy and procedures The Human Resources Generalist under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources, interfaces with union representatives and assists with employee relations issues coordinates and conducts new employee orientations and other staff development trainings maintains the HRIS system with all required employee data and troubleshoots user related issues assist with the performance evaluation process sending periodic reminders to managers and tracking the completion of evaluation tools supports the employee benefits administration function as needed maintains working knowledge of HR related laws and OPWDD and other governing regulations engage in all necessary activities assigned to further the agency's mission and the functions of the Human Resources Department. About You You are the ideal candidate if you are an HR professional committed to making a positive impact in the community. Being a self-starter, creative, driven, flexible and responsive are critical attributes to be successful in this role. You have at least a Bachelor's degree You have a minimum of 2 years of experience Human Resources roles You have professional maturity and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills You are a problem solver with proven ability to design and implement systems You are technology savvy with excellent command of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) You are a good team player and highly energeticWhat We Offer:
