Description Revere Copper Products is looking for a Organizational Effectiveness Specialist to join our respected team of professionals in Rome, NY. Requirements Summary:
The Organizational Effectiveness Specialist leads programs and initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, improve operational performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. Working collaboratively with operations, maintenance, quality, and safety teams, this role ensures employee knowledge, skills, and competencies are aligned with organizational goals, business priorities, and regulatory requirements. As a member of the Human Resources team, the Organizational Effectiveness Specialist develops and supports programs focused on onboarding, employee engagement, retention, learning and leadership development, and overall organizational capability.Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and lead new hire orientation to support a consistent and welcoming onboarding experience Partner with HR, leaders, and supervisors on initiatives to support the employee life cycle, such as onboarding, engagement, training and development, retention, and offboarding. Support stay and exit interview processes by gathering feedback, identifying trends, and recommending actions aimed at improving employee experience and retention. Conduct needs assessments to support the design and development of training programs aligned with organizational priorities and development needs Facilitate and deliver instructor-led learning experiences focused on building supervisory, leadership, and communication competencies. Develop and maintain onboarding, On-the-Job Training, and employee engagement plans in partnership with supervisors, Safety, Quality, and other support departments to ensure position-specific and compliance-related training needs are met. Partner with HRBP to strengthen employee development, coaching practices, performance improvement, team effectiveness, and a culture of accountability, respect, and workforce engagement. Drive improvement initiatives that strengthen learning, development, and organizational effectiveness processes while improving workforce capability and operational results. Assist in the design, communication, implementation, and evaluation of HR initiatives that support organizational culture, employee engagement, retention, and change management. Ensure employee skills, knowledge, and competencies align with organizational objectives, and business priorities. Assess program and initiative effectiveness by gathering feedback, reviewing results, identifying improvements, and recommending next steps. Prepare and maintain materials, communications, resources, and documentation that support orientation, training, engagement, and organizational effectiveness processes. Manage learning systems, training records, and related reporting to ensure accurate documentation and accessibility of employee development resources. Collaborate with local community partners, educational institutions, workforce development organizations, and other resources to support workforce readiness, development programs, and organizational needs.Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have experience in building relationships to improve performance, and a strong record of collaboration. The ability to describe their experiences using effective communication. Direct experience creating work environments where others can succeed is preferred. Must possess a keen interest or a working knowledge of Behavior science. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Knowledge of Document Control Systems is required.
