Akron, Ohio Why This Opportunity Stands Out (Senior HR Generalist):- Serve as a strategic business partner with direct impact on organizational culture, employee engagement, workforce planning, and compliance initiatives
- Lead a broad HR function encompassing employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, performance management, and risk management
- Partner closely with executive leadership to shape HR strategy and drive organizational success
- Join a collaborative environment where you can influence key initiatives involving talent development, succession planning, and employee retention Key Responsibilities (Senior HR Generalist):
- Oversee HR compliance initiatives, employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and risk management programs
- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives
- Administer employee benefits programs, leave management processes, accommodations, disability programs, and HRIS systems
- Support compensation administration, job description management, and employee lifecycle process improvements
- Coach and advise supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy application
- Lead employee training programs related to safety, harassment prevention, ethics, leadership development, and workplace compliance
- Utilize HR data, reporting, and technology to identify trends, improve processes, and support business objectives Qualifications (Senior HR Generalist):
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with exposure to employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR operations
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and supporting conflict resolution initiatives
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and HR technology tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and relationship management skills #LI-DO2 #
