Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support a broad range of people operations activities for a services environment in Dublin, Ohio. This Contract position will play a key role in maintaining compliance, coordinating employee onboarding, supporting recruitment efforts, and assisting with benefits administration. The ideal candidate brings strong HR administration experience, sound judgment in employee matters, and confidence working within HRIS platforms such as Workday.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring paperwork, orientation tasks, and employment documentation are completed accurately and on time.
Manage I-9 verification processes and maintain compliant employment records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support recruiting operations by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and helping move applicants efficiently through the hiring process.
Administer benefits-related tasks, including employee enrollment support, updates, and responses to routine questions regarding available programs.
Maintain employee data within Workday and other HR information systems, ensuring records remain current, accurate, and properly documented.
Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including status changes, record maintenance, and policy-related follow-up.
Assist with employee relations matters by responding to inquiries, escalating concerns when appropriate, and helping promote consistent HR practices.
Contribute to HR projects and process updates, including operational changes tied to systems or workflow improvements when needed. Requirements
5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or closely related HR support role.
Demonstrated knowledge of employee onboarding, HR administration, and benefits support processes.
Hands-on experience with I-9 compliance and employment documentation requirements.
Proficiency using Workday and other HRIS platforms to manage employee information.
Familiarity with recruiting coordination and candidate support activities.
Ability to handle employee relations issues with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
