Recruiter / HR Specialist Independence, OH (44131) Position Summary ALL Family of Companies, located in Independence, is seeking a Recruiter / HR Specialist to support company-wide talent acquisition. This role partners with branch leaders to identify staffing needs, attract and screen qualified candidates, coordinate the hiring process, and facilitate pre-employment and onboarding activities. The position also maintains recruiting records and supports required employment compliance reporting. Must have a pleasant, outgoing personality and the ability to balance multiple priorities. You will play an important part in building a stronger employer brand for our organization to ensure we attract, hire, and retain the most qualified employees. This is a full-time, salaried position with comprehensive benefits in a casual office environment. Reports to the Corporate HR Manager Essential Functions Partner with branch administrators and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide responsive recruiting support. Develop employment advertisements, review applications, conduct initial interviews, and present qualified candidates for consideration. Coordinate candidate communications, interviews, and selection activities with hiring leaders. Prepare offer letters and employment agreements, as applicable, and complete required pre-employment checks. Launch onboarding paperwork in the HRIS, administer E-Verify, and support a consistent new-hire orientation process. Maintain accurate recruiting, HRIS, and personnel records in accordance with confidentiality and records-retention requirements. Assist with compiling annual EEO-1 and
VETS-4212
reports and supports compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and procedures. Assist the Human Resources team with reports, employee communications, and various special projects. Supports HR team with additional duties and projects as needed. Skills and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree or two or more years equivalent professional-level related experience in HR, especially recruitment, advertising and sourcing. Two or more years of HRIS systems experience; UKG Pro and Business Intelligence/report-writing experience preferred. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Highly skilled in both verbal and written communication. SHRM-CP / SCP or
PHR/SPHR
a plus. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Products. Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
