We are "fleet specialists" and focus our business in commercial fleet maintenance, premium tires and retreads, and bulk oil and lubricants distribution. Our dedicated team of professionals are trained and motivated to provide extreme customer service. HR Generalist Shrader Tire & Oil is seeking an HR Generalist with a strong focus on benefits administration and recruiting. This role supports employees and managers across benefits, hiring, onboarding, and performance management while partnering closely with HR leadership.
What you will do:
Benefits Administration Manage employee enrollments, changes, and terminations for benefit programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-offered programs Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries about benefits and resolve issues promptly and with a "customer-first" mindset, in alignment with our Extreme Customer Service value Communicate benefit plan updates, coordinate annual open enrolment, provide training/support to employees, and collaborate with third-party benefit vendors Ensure benefit records are accurate, confidential, and maintained in compliance with relevant laws and regulations Human Resources Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles including Post jobs in Indeed and ATS Conduct phone interviews Coordinate background checks, drug tests, and MVRs Prepare and issue offer letters and employee agreements Plan and coordinate new hire orientation with managers Manage onboarding touchpoints and HR programs Create and manage performance reviews in Paychex Review manager performance reviews and provide feedback Provide HR updates to leadership and internal partners Maintain accurate HR records and documentation Provide payroll backup support
