Full Job Description Job Purpose:
The Senior HR Specialist at
IDEAL HOMES OF NORMAN LP
is responsible for leading and managing human resources functions to ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies and initiatives. This role involves overseeing employee relations, recruitment, training, and development, while aligning HR practices with the company's goals and objectives to foster a productive and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and comply with legal requirements. Lead recruitment efforts by designing and executing effective hiring strategies to attract top talent. Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into the company. Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and support career development. Collaborate with department heads to identify HR needs and provide strategic solutions. Analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and improve HR processes. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation. Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback systems. Foster an inclusive and diverse work environment, promoting equality and respect among employees.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or HR certification (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or
SHRM-SCP
) is preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a senior or specialist role. Proven experience in managing employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition. Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Previous experience in a real estate or property management company is an advantage.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
