Rivers Casino Pittsburgh Position Summary:
Join our team at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh as an HR Coordinator responsible for providing essential support to the HR team, including responsibilities at the HR Service Window and the HR file room.. This role involves coordinating HR communications, participating in Team Member events, handling incoming calls, and ensuring the efficient organization of personnel files.Responsibilities:
Assist in onboarding, orienting new employees, maintaining employee records and conducting background checks. Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance Manage the HR File Room, ensuring timely filing and organization of documents. Coordinate employment interviews, training and update records for employees Redirecting HR related calls and distribute correspondence to the appropriate person on the team. Oversee the public Team Member Bus Pass Program. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical requirements, and comply with Team Member Handbook policies. Order and manage department supplies and inventory. Foster positive team relations by addressing questions, issues, and feedback to HR Management.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of Administrative Assistant/Receptionist experience preferred Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools and HRIS systems preferred. Excellent guest service skills (internal and external). Demonstrated ability to manage challenging interpersonal situations. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. Flexibility to work varying shifts, days, and holidays.Certifications:
Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.Physical Requirements:
