$25-$35/hr. on W2 About the Role- This position is responsible for supporting and administering workplace accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA/ADAAA).
- The ADA Specialist will work closely with employees, healthcare providers, HR Business Partners, managers, and legal teams to evaluate and implement reasonable accommodations.
- The role involves handling accommodation requests, tracking open cases, ensuring compliance, and maintaining detailed documentation throughout the interactive process.
- This is a hybrid opportunity with 50% remote flexibility. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the interactive process for ADA accommodation requests
- Review medical documentation and communicate with healthcare providers when needed
- Partner with HR teams, managers, and legal counsel regarding accommodation decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records within case management systems
- Monitor and track open accommodation cases to ensure timely resolution
- Conduct reviews of current accommodations to ensure continued effectiveness and compliance
- Provide professional and neutral support while handling sensitive employee matters Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience administering ADA programs for medium to large organizations
- Strong understanding of ADA accommodation processes and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with MS Office applications and case management platforms
- Ability to work independently, manage sensitive situations, and provide sound recommendations
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications
- PHR, SHRM-CP, CLMS, or ADAC certification preferred
