About The Company:
Our client is a growing organization within the manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative HR team and gain broad exposure to various areas of Human Resources. The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support across the HR function. This role will work closely with employees and leadership while assisting with recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee engagement, HR systems, and compliance-related activities. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, service-oriented, and eager to grow their HR career.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a resource for employees by addressing HR questions and connecting them with the appropriate resources. Coordinate new hire activities, including paperwork, orientation scheduling, and onboarding support. Maintain confidential employee files and ensure HR records and system information remain accurate and up to date. Assist with HR reporting, data entry, and maintaining employee training records. Support benefits administration, including employee questions, enrollments, status changes, and terminations. Help plan and execute employee engagement, recognition, and company events. Assist with temporary employee administration, including agency communication, timekeeping, invoices, and workforce tracking. Support internship and seasonal hiring efforts through posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting with selections. Assist with leave administration, including FMLA coordination and communication with employees and managers. Coordinate employee recognition and service anniversary programs. Assist with employee surveys and other HR initiatives. Support workers' compensation processes and required safety documentation. Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team and support special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred. Previous HR, administrative, recruiting, or office experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Professional, adaptable, and willing to learn. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Details:
Primarily office-based position requiring regular computer use, sitting, standing, and walking. Work environment is located within a manufacturing facility and may include exposure to industrial noise, fluids, temperature fluctuations, and other manufacturing conditions. Occasional travel between North American locations may be required.
