Job Description
HR Generalist Greenland, NH | $73,000-$85,000 + 10% Bonus | Hybrid (4 Days Onsite, Fridays Remote) Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to own the entire HR function and make a meaningful impact? Our client, a growing New Hampshire-based organization, is seeking an HR Generalist to serve as the sole HR leader across multiple locations. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to executive leadership, where you'll partner with managers, drive employee engagement, oversee compliance, and support the full employee lifecycle. If you enjoy balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and leadership across the organization. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding. Administer benefits, leave programs, HRIS records, and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws. Oversee payroll processes or serve as the second-level reviewer to ensure payroll accuracy. Maintain employee records, HR reporting, policies, and the employee handbook. Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, and leadership best practices. Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, wellness, training, and culture initiatives. Travel to company locations throughout New Hampshire to support employees and leadership (mileage reimbursed). What We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience. Experience managing multiple areas of HR, including employee relations, benefits, compliance, recruiting, and performance management. Comfortable working independently as the primary HR resource while partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives. Payroll experience, either processing payroll or reviewing for accuracy. Multi-location HR experience preferred. Retail or service industry experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification highly preferred. Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus. Why You'll Love This Opportunity $73,000-$85,000 base salary plus a 10% annual bonus. Hybrid schedule with Fridays remote.
