Job Title:

Contract HR Consultant (1099) - Employee Separation Support We are seeking a seasoned HR Consultant to support a client during a business closure affecting 25+ employees. This short-term, fully remote contract is ideal for an experienced HR professional who has managed employee separations in the past and can provide steady, compassionate support throughout a sensitive transition. The ideal candidate brings strong HR judgment, professionalism, and a calm, reassuring presence. This role requires someone who is comfortable navigating high-touch employee communications, remains composed under pressure, and can effectively support leadership and employees during a challenging period.

Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience Demonstrated experience managing employee terminations, layoffs, or closure-related separations Calm, professional demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive situations confidently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Well-rounded HR background with practical, hands-on experience HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or

SHRM-SCP
