Job Description

HR & Compliance Generalist A Guiding Light Services is seeking an organized, dependable, and people-focused HR & Compliance Generalist to join our growing team. As we continue to expand our healthcare services, this position will play an important role in supporting our employees and providers while helping ensure our workforce remains compliant with company, state, payer, and program requirements. This is a hands-on HR position ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, solving problems, and managing multiple priorities in a growing organization. Key Responsibilities Human Resources & Employee Support Support employees and providers with day-to-day HR questions and concerns Assist with employee relations and workplace issues Maintain accurate and organized personnel records Assist with performance management, corrective actions, and terminations Support company policies and HR procedures Assist management with HR-related matters Provide backup support for other HR functions as needed Hiring & Onboarding Coordinate onboarding for new employees and providers Track candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process Collect and review required employment and credentialing documentation Coordinate background checks and other required clearances Ensure new hires complete required training and documentation before beginning services Maintain onboarding and credentialing records Assist with recruiting and candidate communication as needed Compliance & Credentialing Track employee and provider credentials, certifications, training requirements, and expiration dates Conduct routine personnel-file audits Assist with required exclusion and background screenings Help ensure workforce compliance with applicable company, state, payer, and program requirements Identify missing or expiring documentation and follow up with employees Assist with internal audits and corrective action processes Maintain organized documentation for external audits and reviews Qualifications 2+ years of Human Resources or closely related experience preferred Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred, but not required Relevant HR, healthcare, credentialing, or compliance experience may substitute for formal education Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, HCBS, ABA, or a related environment strongly preferred Experience with employee onboarding, credentialing, compliance tracking, or personnel-file management preferred Familiarity with Arizona DDD requirements is a plus SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus, but not required Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership and other departments What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who doesn't simply wait for problems to be brought to them. As A Guiding Light Services continues to grow, this position will have the opportunity to grow with the organization and take on additional HR and compliance responsibilities.
Pay:
$52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
