Job Description
Job Overview The Part-Time Human Resources Professional is responsible for leading and administering the organization's human resources functions for 25-30 employees while ensuring alignment with company objectives and workforce needs. This position balances the needs of employees and the organization through effective recruitment, employee development, policy administration, benefits management, employee relations, and compliance initiatives. The Part-Time HR works closely with company leadership and department managers to support strategic human resources goals and maintain a productive, compliant, and engaged workforce. Responsibilities Develop and implement short- and long-term human resources plans that support company business objectives. Collaborate with management to identify workforce needs and recommend organizational improvements. Recruitment and Staffing Manage the company recruitment process on a part-time basis, prioritizing staffing needs and critical openings. Coordinate candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding activities. Maintain candidate databases and relationships with staffing agencies and recruiting partners. Support hiring managers throughout the hiring process. Employee Development and Performance Management Coordinate employee orientation and onboarding programs. Administer competency assessments and job-specific training programs. Manage performance review processes and assist supervisors with employee development plans. Compensation and Benefits Administration Administer company benefit programs, including health insurance and disability programs. Coordinate annual benefit renewals and vendor negotiations. Communicate benefit program changes and enrollment information to employees. Ensure compensation practices are equitable and competitive within the market. Employee Relations Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for employees and management. Assist with conflict resolution and workplace issues. Provide guidance regarding company policies, procedures, and employee concerns. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Compliance and Policy Administration Maintain and update HR policies and procedures. Maintain company's employee handbook Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Administer personnel documentation, including hiring, leaves of absence, accommodations, and terminations. Support safety initiatives and maintain employment-related records.
