Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for supporting employees, fostering equity, and navigating complex personnel matters? We are excited to announce a permanent full-time opportunity for a Senior Human Resource Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to managers, employees, and union partners across a broad range of human resources functions, including recruitment and selection, employee and labor relations, performance management, employee leaves, and position management. Key responsibilities include serving as a classification and compensation subject matter expert, conducting and supporting investigations involving issues ranging from standard misconduct to potential criminal activity, and providing comprehensive HR consultation and guidance to support sound personnel decisions and organizational effectiveness. bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior or Development, Business or Public Administration, the Applied Behavioral Sciences, Industrial Relations or a job-related course of study determined by the appointing authority; and three years of Human Resource professional-level experience related to the position; OR Valid certification as a Professional in Human Resource awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute and four years Human Resource professional-level experience related to the position; OR Six years Human Resource experience related to the position. Four of the six years must have been at the professional level. A master's degree in any of the above listed courses of study may substitute for one year of professional-level experience. The State Certified Human Resources Professional (SCHRP) certification, awarded by the Oregon Chief Human Resources Office, substitutes for six months of human resource professional-level experience. Valid certification as a SHRM Certified Professional awarded by a nationally recognized organization substitutes for one year of human resource professional-level experience. Valid certification as aPSHRA-CP
from the Public Sector HR Association substitutes for one year of professional-level human resources experience.Required Skills:
Knowledge of Workday and related DAS computer systems, as well as applicable rules, policies, and procedures established by the Department of Administrative Services (DAS)/HRSD and Oregon Youth Authority (OYA). Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage workload effectively. Knowledge and/or experience working through change management and developing efficient processes. Experience providing recommendations to managers and developing appropriate corrective or disciplinary actions as needed. This position is hybrid work, with once a week required in-office days at a facility, field office, and/or Central Office. In-office day requirements may change depending on business needs.
