Onsite Position Summary The Human Resources Summer Hire applies their educational experience in a real world setting with Taco's Human Resources team. They support the HR department in various tasks and projects aimed at optimizing organizational processes related to employee management and development. This role offers hands-on experience in HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and employee relations. This role will require confidentiality and the ability to remain neutral. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with Human Resources functions, including Employee Relations, Benefits and Talent Management.
Measures of success:
Complete assigned tasks accurately On-time completions of projects Regular attendance and punctuality Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist with front desk duties, including serving as the initial point of contact. Support event planning and coordination. Order the new employee orientation lunch and handle invoicing tasks. Meet and greet the new hires on their first day of orientation. Prepare and organize benefits files. Schedule preliminary phone interviews with job candidates. Create New Employee Orientation folders monthly. Direct employee questions to correct individuals within HR. Answer telecommunication devices. Research trends and best practices. Data entry, compile data for reports.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor degree program Junior or Senior majoring in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field required 0-1 Years' experience in Human Resources Knowledgeable with computer systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) Good communication skills both oral and written High understanding of working collaboratively Able to take feedback and apply it to performance Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Must have good time management skills Travel to occasional off-site events and meetings is require Work Environment This position works primarily in an office environment using computers and technology. Verbal and auditory capability are required. Occasional exposure in production plant and testing lab where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas. This position reports into the site every day. Management This position has no direct reports.
