Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and organized Contract HR Generalist to support our Human Resources team with a primary focus on hourly staffing and talent acquisition. This position plays a critical role in ensuring manufacturing staffing needs are met by managing the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly production positions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience recruiting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly manufacturing positions, including: Sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and community partnerships Screening resumes and conducting phone interviews Coordinating interviews with hiring managers Extending offers and managing pre-employment processes Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and new employee paperwork. Maintain candidate pipelines to ensure a steady flow of qualified applicants. Attend job fairs, hiring events, and community recruiting initiatives. Build relationships with local workforce development organizations, technical schools, and staffing resources. Maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure accurate recruiting documentation. Provide exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Assist with employment verification, background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding compliance. Support HR with employee relations, policy administration, and other HR projects as needed. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of HR experience , with emphasis on recruiting and staffing. Previous experience recruiting for manufacturing or industrial positions strongly preferred. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Workday experience is a plus. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
