Job Description

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support day-to-day people operations for our team in Sparta, Tennessee. This position plays a key role in hiring support, onboarding coordination, employee assistance, benefits administration, and maintaining organized HR records. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism while contributing to efficient HR processes across the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage recruiting coordination by posting openings, reviewing incoming applications, arranging interviews, and completing reference checks.
  • Lead onboarding activities for new employees, including orientation scheduling and collection of required employment documents.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential personnel records and update HR information systems in a timely manner.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, attendance, and payroll processes, escalating issues when needed.
  • Support benefits administration by processing enrollments, status changes, terminations, and open enrollment communications.
  • Review timekeeping records, assist with payroll preparation, and verify the accuracy of employee pay-related updates.
  • Track leave administration, workers' compensation matters, and other compliance-related HR activities to support regulatory adherence.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal reviews and compliance audits while helping keep HR practices audit-ready.
  • Coordinate training logistics, maintain learning records, and assist with engagement initiatives, policy updates, and general HR communications.
  • Provide administrative support to HR and, as needed, assist the Commercial and Finance teams with clerical tasks.
