The primary function of the role is to facilitate the onboarding and processing of newly hired paraprofessional/hourly employees into the organization. This encompasses a spectrum of responsibilities aimed at ensuring a seamless and productive onboarding experience for all incoming staff members. Key duties include offering comprehensive support and guidance to new hires throughout their onboarding journey, managing essential paperwork and compliance requirements, and coordinating with different departments to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration during the onboarding process. The position will have oversight of the fingerprinting process for this group of employees, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Additionally, this position will assist in job description compliance.QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalentSpecial Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google, and other relevant software applications Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment Skill in using district computerized systems utilized in the human resources department Skill in applying basic mathematics Skill in communicating effectively verbally and in writing Skill in operating standard computer and software applications, including but not limited to electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations Ability to organize and prioritize work responsibilitiesExperience:
Three years of experience in clerical/administrative roles, preferably in a human resources or education setting Three years of human resources experience is preferredCHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist hourly new hires with completing required forms, documents, and other onboarding tasks through electronic systems. Communicate effectively with new hires to provide guidance, answer questions, and address concerns related to the onboarding process. Process payroll forms for hourly employees. Process SBEC-required information for paraprofessional staff. Maintain an onboarding database to ensure that employee information is accurate, current and reliable. Research and maintain current information on SBEC rules, requirements and processes. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required including maintaining a database of certification and information for classroom paraprofessionals. Prepare correspondence, forms, and reports according to district standards and requirements. Assist in the coordination of the employee performance appraisal system for hourly staff and ensure all principals and supervisors meet all requirements with appropriate documentation in the required time-line. Maintain an active fingerprint subscription for all employees so that the district is notified of a criminal history event. Ensure all staff have an appropriate criminal history background, which is appropriate for the public education setting. Upload fingerprint information for new hires needing to be printed. Unsubscribe to employees as they leave the district. Oversee the distribution of reasonable assurance letters for hourly staff.Organization Improvement:
