Job TitleTalent Management Specialist III Agency Texas A&M University Department Human Resources Proposed Minimum SalaryCommensurate Job LocationCollege Station, Texas Job TypeStaff Job Description A Glimpse of the Job Texas A&M University is embarking on a review of the performance management process for staff positions at the university, to ensure that employee successes are effectively identified, recognized and rewarded and opportunities for learning and career development are highlighted. The Talent Management department within Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness (HROE) is seeking two Talent Management Specialist III to support this project for a nine-month period. In this role you will work collaboratively with other HROE and customer teams to organize and facilitate stakeholder and focus groups, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, develop and refine processes and systems, plan and create communications, guides, templates and other resources and follow other best practice change management protocols Essential Duties/Tasks Organizational Workforce Planning & Strategy Collaborates with key leaders and hiring managers to develop a strong understanding of organizational goals, strategy, talent profiles, and culture to develop effective recruitment and talent management plans. Develops an understanding of critical needs. Understands and influences culture. Talent Management analytics and continuous improvement Facilitates continuous improvement via measurement tools, scorecards, and recruitment and talent analysis. Understands effectiveness of tools, strategies, methods, and materials and make changes as needed for improvement. Facilitates and documents process improvements. Talent Acquisition Drives the development and implementation of comprehensive technical and non-technical recruitment plans by using innovative sourcing and marketing/branding techniques to engage both active and passive candidates. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruitment methods and strategies based on market trends, competitive insights, industry standards and the needs of the organization. Utilizes recruitment tools effectively.

You may upload these in the CV/Resume section. •This is a temporary role (9 month duration) Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of related full-cycle recruiting and/or talent management experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or similar field of study. More than five years of full lifecycle recruiting and/or talent management experience, to include experience in developing and executing strategic sourcing and recruitment plans. Skilled at using sourcing tools and platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed resume database, etc.). Skilled at using data visualization and GenAI tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, MS CoPilot, Gemini, ChatCPT) Ability to present market and talent data and metrics to hiring managers to inform the recruiting process. Experience planning and facilitating focus groups, including designing discussion questions and interactive exercises (e.g., flip chart, sticky note, roundtable formats), guiding conversations, synthesizing insights, and developing actionable recommendations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Advanced knowledge of word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge of state and federal policy in recruiting, hiring and employment. Ability to analyze job descriptions/candidate profiles to identify target and appropriate matches. Excellent consultative skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple department and levels. Track record of personal accountability, integrity, and proven organizational skills. Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, customer service skills. Ability to work with a wide range of personalities. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Other Requirements and Factors This position is security sensitive.
