Job Description

The Employee Relations Associate supports day-to-day employee relations activities at the U.S. manufacturing site by assisting with employee concerns, documentation, case tracking, and investigation support under the guidance of HR leadership. This role helps ensure fair, consistent, and compliant workplace practices while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Support & Case Intake Receive and route employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues in a timely, professional manner. Maintain accurate ER case logs and assist in tracking open items and deadlines. Support employee communication and follow-up as directed by HR leadership. Investigation Support & Documentation Assist with fact-finding activities for workplace concerns (e.g., policy violations, attendance, conduct) under the direction of HR leadership. Help gather documentation, statements, and supporting materials. Draft and organize investigation notes and summaries for review. Manager Support & Policy Coordination Support managers with basic guidance and administrative coordination related to corrective actions, performance documentation, and policy interpretation (as directed). Assist with preparing and organizing documentation related to disciplinary actions and terminations. Compliance, Records & Confidentiality Ensure proper recordkeeping of ER cases in accordance with company policy. Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters. Escalate high-risk or sensitive matters to HR leadership as instructed. Engagement & Training Support Participate in employee engagement initiatives and assist with ER-related training coordination (communication, scheduling, attendance, tracking). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 1-4 years of HR experience (manufacturing environment preferred). Exposure to employee relations, compliance, investigations, or HR casework preferred. Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills. Skills & Competencies Ability to maintain neutrality and professionalism in emotionally charged situations. High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work collaboratively with HR, managers, and employees.
