Fulltime / Swing Shifts / In Person Monday through Friday / 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm Position Summary The HR Generalist (Swing Shift) serves as the primary HR partner for our swing shift and night shift manufacturing operations. This role provides hands-on support to employees and leaders by driving recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, policy administration, compliance, and performance support. The ideal candidate is an inclusive, approachable, detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys building relationships on the production floor, solving problems, and helping leaders create high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR resource for Swing Shift and Night Shift employees and supervisors.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders and employees through regular floor presence.
  • Coach supervisors on performance management, conflict resolution, attendance, corrective action, and policy interpretation.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and assist with employee relations concerns.
  • Partner with hiring managers to recruit, interview, and onboard production employees.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Monitor staffing levels and support hiring efforts for Swing and Night Shift operations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain required training records and compliance documentation.
  • Support safety initiatives and workers' compensation processes as needed.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, service anniversaries, birthday celebrations, and company events.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives that strengthen company culture.
  • Assist with communication of company-wide initiatives and programs. Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Understanding of employment law, HR best practices and compliance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly curious and proactive decision-making skills.
  • Inquiry driven mindset that consistently verifies details by asking questions and reviewing the broader context of each situation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • High attention to minor details.
  • Disciplined note-taking skills and the ability to accurately document processes and follow-up.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Frequently walk throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Sit, stand, and move throughout the workday.
  • Work in an office and manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; or in process
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
