Job Description

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Must have Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field or have four years of experience in a Human Resource related position. 2. Must have working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods. Two years of recruiting experience preferred. 3. Must be able to receive clearance from Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE). 4. Must possess valid driver's license and vehicle. 5. Must have a strong understanding of and ability to work in Microsoft Office software programs with a strong emphasis on Word, Excel and Power Point. 6. Must have working knowledge of Labor and Employment law. 7. Must have working knowledge in maintaining compliance with Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity and other related employment laws and regulations. 8. Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English. 9. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 10. Must have the ability to make judgments based on factual data and manage multiple projects and tasks. 11. Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills. 12. Must exhibit discretion, flexibility and willingness to work with all employees. 13. Must be courteous, tactful and objective while working to ensure that company objectives are maintained. 14. Must be able to work with little supervision and follow instructions. 15. Must be able to work with and communicate well with all levels of the organization. 16. Must maintain confidentiality of all company related information. 17. Must be able to work all overtime as required.
JOB DUTIES
1. Assist in the evaluation of hiring needs on both an organizational and departmental level. 2. Collaborate with heads of departments to identify and draft detailed job descriptions, position requirements and hiring criteria. 3. Conduct research for compensation packages for new and existing positions as needed. 4. Assist the Human Resource Director in developing and maintaining Position Descriptions. Ensure new revisions are distributed to the appropriate departments for employee review, signature and return to the Human Resource Department for filing. 5. Recruit job candidates by creating job advertisements and postings using a variety of search methods to build a candidate pool. 6. Ensure job openings are posted on the applicable state employment website. 7. Ensure Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity compliance as it relates to advertising, recruiting, and the processing and tracking of applications. 8. Annually analyze Company's recruiting efforts to ensure Affirmative Action compliance. 9. Maintain a log of communications sent to colleges, universities, and other targeted recruitment sources. 10. Document Company's outreach programs, recruitment activities, and other community volunteer programs that demonstrate the Company's good faith effort toward meeting its affirmative action obligation...
