A Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist supports initiatives to make workforces more diverse and to foster an inclusive workplace culture. They are typically members of the human resources team and work with staff responsible for talent acquisition, learning and development, talent management, and other functions related to hiring, promotion and company culture.
Deliver the Strengthening Families Program (SFP) for ages 10-14 with fidelity, engaging youth, parents/caregivers, and families using a strengths-based approach. Create a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment for children ages 10-14 and their families. Prepare thoroughly for each session, including completing required facilitator training, reviewing weekly lesson plans, and organizing materials. Coordinate session logistics, such as arriving early for set-up and assisting with clean-up afterward. Collaborate and communicate effectively with coalition staff, co-facilitators, and coordinators, including participation in team debriefs and planning meetings and reporting concerns promptly. Complete documentation and reporting requirements, including attendance tracking, pre- and post-surveys, evaluations, and timesheets in a timely manner.

Facilitator Training (required prior to facilitation). Experience working with youth and/or families in group settings is preferred, along with strong communication, interpersonal, and group facilitation skills. The ideal candidate can maintain professional boundaries, model positive behaviors, and demonstrate a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices. Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends as required by the program schedule is also essential.
