Known for innovative design, superior craftsmanship, and customer-focused solutions, Fluid Motion builds high-quality vessels that provide exceptional comfort, performance, and reliability for boaters exploring both inland and coastal waters. Fluid Motion, LLC is seeking an HR Generalist specializing in Benefits and Employee Relations. This is an on-site position Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Salary Range - $85,000 to $110,000/DOE The HR Generalist/ Benefits & Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for supporting key human resources functions with a primary focus on employee relations, benefits administration, leave of absence management, and talent acquisition. This position serves as a trusted resource to employees and managers, ensuring consistent application of company policies, compliance with employment laws, and delivery of programs that support employee engagement and organizational success. The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional with strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to balance employee advocacy with business objectives. Duties Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, company policies, employment practices, performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns. Investigate employee complaints, conduct issues, and policy violations while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring appropriate resolution. Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, life event changes, open enrollment, employee education, vendor coordination, and issue resolution. Oversee leave of absence programs, including FMLA, state leave programs, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, military leave, and personal leaves, ensuring compliance and effective return-to-work processes. Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding activities, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, offer administration, new hire orientation, and integration. Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, benefits documentation, and leave administration records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, benefit regulations, and company policies through audits, reporting, documentation, and process oversight. Implement and communicate HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, recognition, and a positive workplace culture. Partner with leadership on organizational and people-related initiatives, utilizing HR metrics, data analysis, and continuous improvement practices to support business objectives.
