Job Description:
Position Summary:
This position will serve as an internal customer support business partner for the production plant. This will include full cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, company activity planning, payroll, and employee records. Ensuring accuracy and legal compliance both federally and state. Provides internal support and partnerships to business lines. Responsible for providing day-to-day professional HR support and policy administration relating to all phases of the employee life cycle (e.g. hiring, training, employee relations).
Scope and Function:
Recruiting for all production roles Onboarding and new hire orientation Hiring employees into the HRIS system with accuracy Assisting with
FMLA, WA PFML
state programs Participate in employee engagement activities including town halls, employee appreciation events, united way campaign and holiday celebration. Prepare and maintain employee records terminations Oversee payroll and timekeeping Approve timecards for corporate processing Promote Wellness and activities Serve as a Wellness Champion for corporate calls Processing terminations for hourly roles Lead mild complexity employee relations complaints and investigations
Skills/Ability:
Knowledge of Washington law Ability to multitask. Detail Oriented Ability to work with various personalities Maintain confidentiality of personal or sensitive matters Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel Ability to build cross-department credibility, confidence, and collaboration with other functional areas and facilities. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
In office and manufacturing environment Ability Lifting up to 25 lbs. Ability to work on occasion beyond standard work hours
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources related field•1-3 years of experience MS Office Skills required•Advance Excel Skills preferred. SHRM or PHR Certification a Plus but not required
Compensation Information:
