Description:
Hall Imports is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Payroll and HR Specialist to oversee our organization's payroll processing and human resources operations. You will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, while managing onboarding, benefits administration, and HR data integrity.
Requirements:
Responsibilities Payroll Administration Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls using Paylocity. Verify employee timesheets, calculate wages, overtime, and bonuses, and process payroll deductions (taxes, 401k, garnishments). Reconcile payroll discrepancies and respond to employee pay or tax inquiries quickly and professionally. Prepare detailed payroll reports, general ledger entries, and tax filings for finance and management teams. Human Resources Operations Coordinate the full employee onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations, verifying employment eligibility, and setting up profiles in HRIS/payroll systems. Administer employee benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k)), manage enrollments, and process benefits deductions Maintain accurate personnel files and manage the integration between HR records and payroll systems to ensure data integrity. Assist with compliance and reporting for FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.
