Job Purpose/Position Summary:
Serves as the
District's:
Facilitator of District-wide hiring/job posting process Paraprofessional & casual group coordinator Back-up for Workers Compensation claims
Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitator of Hiring Process (50%) Point of contact for applicants and hiring managers regarding job openings, assists with recruiting, posts all job postings, manages applicant process, tracks applicant/hiring data, schedules interviews, maintains posting files, serves as Applitrack Help Desk. Paraprofessional Coordinator (30%) For Paraprofessional Employees, oversees all changes to contracts and changes to employees in HRIS, seniority lists, and other databases. Creates contracts for new hires and hold orientations for new employees, Assists with negotiation items, Assists in administering layoff/recall Administrative Support (10%) Works closely with the Assistant Director
  • Human Resources on Staffing & Hiring.
Record-keeping and file maintenance work to comply with record retention schedule Back-up for Worker's Compensation Claims (5%) Back-up to the individual who oversees Worker's Compensation. Other Duties as Assigned (5%)

Human Resource Generalist Experience and/or degree Database entry and/or management experience Familiarity with Skyward database software Familiarity with Frontline Applitrak System Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Duties are generally performed in a typical office/school setting where there are minimal environmental hazards and risks. Employee(s) may be exposed to some disagreeable conditions involving human/coworker contact and exposure to minor illness. Ability to perform the following actions: standing, sitting, using hands dexterously, talking, hearing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds on occasion, reaching, stooping, walking, bending, crouching.
