Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Neenah, Wisconsin. In this role, you will work closely with leadership and the HR team to support multiple locations, ensuring seamless HR operations and fostering a positive employee experience. This position offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of HR functions, from employee relations to compliance and onboarding.
Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, including performance concerns, investigations, and terminations.
- Collaborate with external partners to handle unemployment claims, workers' compensation, and leave of absence requests.
- Provide support for HR systems and timekeeping platforms, assisting with troubleshooting and user inquiries.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations across multiple states.
- Develop and coordinate management training initiatives and new employee orientation programs.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and recommend strategies to improve employee retention and engagement.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports to ensure accurate data and proper documentation.
- Cross-train in various HR functions to offer backup support and assist with payroll-related processes.
- Perform additional HR-related duties as needed to support organizational goals. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role, with multi-location support preferred.
- Proficiency in HR systems and software, including timekeeping and payroll platforms.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Demonstrated ability to support employee relations and investigations effectively.
