At Johnson Financial Group, our internship experience is designed to help you build a strong foundation for your future. You'll be challenged to grow, supported by experienced professionals, and encouraged to contribute in ways that make an impact from day one. Johnson Financial Group is Wisconsin's largest privately held, family-owned, financial services institution, headquartered in Racine with locations across the state. During our 11-week rotational internship, you'll work alongside Human Resources professionals across key areas of the function. Through hands-on projects, exposure to day-to-day HR operations, and opportunities to learn from team members across the organization, you'll gain a practical understanding of how HR supports both the business and the associate experience. This experience is built to help you explore your interests, strengthen your skills, and better understand where your talents may align within Human Resources and the financial services industry. You'll gain experience in the areas of:

TALENT ACQUISITION

Gain an understanding of the recruiting process, and research trends and create social content for our JFG Careers social pages

ASSOCIATE EXPERIENCE

Partner with the associate experience team to gain knowledge in communications, learning and development, and associate engagement activities

TOTAL REWARDS

Gain an understanding of the different components of Total Rewards including Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, and Compensation Our program also allows interns to experience the history of JFG and its surrounding communities. Beyond your day-to-day HR experience, you'll have opportunities to connect, give back, and be part of memorable moments throughout the summer, including: Connecting with our Executive Team during orientation and continuing to build relationships with leaders throughout the summer. Giving back alongside fellow interns and associates through a community volunteer event at the Hunger Task Force. Taking part in the Light the Hoan Internship Challenge, a collaborative project that brings interns together and highlights the true power of teamwork.
